WhatNew script compiles a list of recently added and updated files. You can either run the script
from the browser, or automatically at preset times via cron. The results are output to a HTML or PHP page,
which you can customize and then link to. Features include the following:
- Ability to define which directories are allowed to be scanned
- Ability to define which file types are allowed for inclusion
- Ability to define date cutoff - files newer than this are listed in output page
- Ability to define display cutoff - maximum number of files to display
- Ability to define whether sort ascending or descending
- Fully customizable in terms of HTML layout
- Complete user-friendly error handling
